    Saskatchewan Summer

With the Saskatchewan Day long weekend approaching, there is nothing better than setting up a tent or parking your trailer in one of Saskatchewan’s provincial, national, or regional parks.

Hiking or biking through the vast terrain, visiting the beautiful beaches, and sitting around a fire looking up at the stars is the best way to disconnect from technology and reconnect with family and friends. Saskatchewan offers so much to see and do in the summer months.

If you happen to be at Douglas Provincial Park, Cypress Hills Provincial Park, or Batoche National Historical site this summer make sure you check out the visitor centres that P3A designed.

Enjoy the beautiful, warm summer days!

    P3A attends ALA Annual Conference

P3A’s James Youck attended the American Library Association Annual Conference & Exhibition in San Diego. This conference brings together 16,000 librarians, publishers, authors, architects, and designers from across the globe to share ideas, challenges, and solutions. James participated in a tour of public libraries where the importance of specificity to a community was emphasized as was the importance of engaging the local design community in the development of libraries.

Libraries are more important today than ever before, not as repositories for books, but as forums for civic discourse. P3A is committed to the role of libraries as civic building blocks, and centres of broad-based, life-long, learning.
