UNIVERSITY OF REGINA RESEARCH AND INNOVATION CENTRE (RIC)

The Research and Innovation Centre (RIC) at the University of Regina was initiated as a stand-alone addition to the original Laboratory Building. Completed in four phases, the building contains wet and dry bench research labs, classrooms, service and study spaces, offices, a 180-seat lecture theatre and a continuation of the pedestrian concourse system, all centered on a five storey atrium. SASKATCHEWAN DISEASE CONTROL LABORATORY

The Saskatchewan Disease Control Laboratory in Regina is the first Level Three lab to seek LEED Silver certification in Saskatchewan. This three-storey, 10,000 square meter facility is of relevance due to the very stringent envelope design requirements and rigorous monitoring and testing of installation. [more]

PRINCE OF WALES LIBRARY

The design of the Regina Public Library, Prince of Wales Branch was inspired by nature. One of the goals was to bring the outside in and this is accomplished by using the same tyndall stone on the interior and exterior in addition to having large windows that flood the library with natural light. TERRACE BUILDING

The Terrace is the signature building of Innovation Place in Regina, Saskatchewan and defines the material palette and design standard that all subsequent buildings are required to meet. The building and its landscaped courtyard, or ‘terrace,’ is the focal point and central gathering space for the park. [more]
