About Us
P3Architecture Ltd. (P3A) is a consulting firm wholly owned and operated in Saskatchewan. Formed in 1996, P3A traces roots back to 1954. With offices in Regina and Saskatoon we are capable of providing service throughout the province. The firm has grown into one of the largest in Saskatchewan through an expanding client list that includes provincial and federal governments as well as private agencies. We have worked on projects ranging in value from several thousand to over 100 million dollars.
We have developed a reputation for signature architecture delivered on time and on budget. This commitment to quality design can be seen in projects such as the spectacular new RCMP Heritage Centre (with Arthur Erickson), the new Government of Canada Building in Regina, the Terrace Building at the Regina Research Park, the Treaty Four Governance Centre, the Saskatchewan Disease Control Laboratory, and the University of Regina Research Laboratory Building. High profile signature buildings are the firm’s forte.
P3A is a leader in sustainable design, having been producing “green” buildings long before it became the industry norm. In 2003 P3A won the NRCan Energy Efficiency Award for the Terrace Building at Regina Research Park. The project, selected from 80 applicants for this national award, is one of the most energy efficient buildings in Canada. We have recently been awarded LEED Silver Certification for the new $21m Government of Canada Building in Regina, a remarkable achievement for a project with a budget of less than $95 a square foot. The design team for the $50m U of R Lab followed a similar sustainable design process, resulting in a building that will qualify for IBIP and LEED Silver Certification. The new $45m Saskatchewan Disease Control Laboratory and Regina Correctional Centre will be LEED projects. We have adopted sustainable design as a cornerstone for project development, utilizing an integrated design process that includes owners, consultants and contractors.
